Dr Thomas Graham, history professor at Flagler College (Sanchez)
will give the speech.
The location of the ceremonies will be at the Mission of Nombre
De Dios and the Shrine on San Marco by the cemetery. We really
need to have as many descendants as possible of the SOLANA/SOLANO
and SANCHEZ families attend so we can have a large showing. You
don't have to be a member of LOS FLORIDANOS to attend, but we
hope you will see the great job we are doing and want to join

Speaking of a great ASSET, we need to give
Charles Usina a
BIG THANKS for all his behind the scenes help. He recently arranged
for the board to meet with Dr. Lyons and Dr. Graham for a discussion
on the First Spanish Period. He has opened many doors for us.
He knows ALL the appropriate people. THANKS, CHARLES!! |
